A Blast From the Past
This is a screenshot of the old ZDNet Games channel (this channel existed briefly before gamespot.com became a part of ZDNet) from about 1998 (or thereabouts, the exact date is fuzzy now). I’ve included it here because it was a very fun thing for me to do and looking at the screenshot reminds me of how far the medium has come. Though I think that this page still stands the test of time. It’s clean, well organized and pretty easy to read.

I did edit duties for this page under the excellent supervision of Janet Wright, then Editor of ZDNet and a genuine peach to work with. It was very exciting for me at the time to be able to work on something like this.

Please note that this was pre-launch, meaning that you may find a typo or incorrect grammar in it. All such errors were corrected before it actually launched. :-)
