Requiem for a Motherboard

In my last DIY column, I discussed what it was like to build my first system. As time went by, unfortunately, my DIY system wasn’t all wine and roses. As those of us who decide to build our own systems occasionally do, I ran into some problems with the motherboard and CPU temperature. This column tells the story of how I dealt with it and should stand as a shining example of What Not to Do for DIYers everywhere.
