My New Monitor: Sony PremierePro SDM-P234

Got this a few weeks back. Terrific monitor, I’m going to do a column about it for ExtremeTech soon. Terrific for gaming. I play Unreal Tournament 2004 on it and it’s a blast.

Yes, it’s expensive. But if you are someone who is on your computer a lot then you should buy the best monitor you can possibly afford. Your eyes will thank you for it and you will be sure glad you did! I don’t regret coughing up the bucks for this in the least.

Frankly, I wish I’d done it sooner. My old monitor was a 19 inch CRT that I’d gotten from Ziff way back. Although it was nice to get a free monitor, I felt cramped all the time and wished for quite a while for something bigger.

I knew I didn’t want another CRT so I looked around and jumped for this one. I’m a happy camper. :)
