GAIM Instant Messenger 1.0 Released
My favorite IM client has just had its 1.0 release. I use it in Windows and in Linux, I’ve found it to be far better than anything else. If you’re still using the regular AOL client or some other clone, you should check GAIM out. The interface is much cleaner than Trillian’s default interface and it’s a more sane experience than Trillian too. I may do a full review of this for ET soon. I think it’s worth it, quite a lot of folks have never heard of it and don’t know that they have an alternative to AOL’s lame software.
You can download it here and you can view the changelog . More screenshots are also available.
