The Most Downloaded Song Ever on iTunes?
Don’t Stop Believing by Journey.
Who would have thought it? A relic from the 80s makes a comeback in the Sopranos and ends up being the most downloaded song ever from iTunes.
Somewhere Steve Perry is smiling and depositing yet another royalty check.
I remember Journey getting ragged on by a lot of people when I was a teenager. Despite the fact that I preferred Led Zeppelin, Ozzy and that kind of stuff I didn’t think Journey was as bad as some people made them out to be. Looking back at it they’re actually a pretty coherent pop/rock band which is more than you can say for some of the drivel that passes for popular music these days.
Maybe I’m just getting old and crotchety.
