Hulu Movies on Boxee: 17 Years Old and Up?

So I went to watch Rob Roy today on Boxee via Hulu and got this message:

“We are sorry, but the video you have requested is restricted to users 17 years and older”

Heh, heh. Well I’m certainly older than that.

However I was not able to watch the movie. It just gave me some other recommendations and would not display the movie. Boo!

I guess Hulu has started some kind of age verification thing. Way to go Hulu…and to think I was just starting to enjoy a lot of your content on Boxee. The Boxee folks are aware of it and hopefully will have some kind of workaround so we can continue to enjoy all of Hulu’s content.

In the meantime I guess I will just have to watch something else for a while. I still haven’t set up a network directory for my ripped DVD movies yet so that might be a good thing to do. I have some I ripped a while back that would work well for Boxee and a bunch more I might want to add to it.

download the latest version and try again.
you should be free to watch R-Rated content again.
