Heh, heh. Priceless. Hey, give Lisa Simpson some credit. Instead of filing for bankruptcy she ended up getting a job to pay off her Mytunes music download bill.

I wonder if Apple CEO Steve Jobs saw this and found it amusing. Probably not. He’s not known to have much of a sense of humor as far as I can tell. Oh well. I doubt Bart Simpson’s monologue while Steve “Mobs” was speaking would go over well with the real Jobs. I found it hilarious though. It’s something that a lot of people who don’t like Apple would like to have done at one of Jobs’ real keynote speeches.

Unfortunately there really are Apple zombies like the ones in the Simpson’s clip out there. Mindlessly buying whatever product Apple puts out. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Macs and iPhone as much as the next guy but not everything Apple does is perfect and sometimes they screw up just as badly as any other company. But when they do screw up they look much more stylish than others. Heh.

Remember the cube? The clamshell laptop? The first version of Apple TV? The clones? Apple has an illustrious past and a bright future but oh my goodness, they’ve laid a lot of eggs too. Nasty, stinky eggs that some people seem to have forgotten about in the pursuit of the sheer coolness factor of some of Apple’s newer products.
